Introducing young children from the age of 2 to sports helps encourage active play, ability to show teamwork all whilst developing physicality. We can offer a wide range of age appropriate activities such as football, early years tennis, rugby, athletics and much more. Go Active deliver their early years programme into nursery and pre school settings as part of their provision and also run parent and child sessions in the community.
Inclusion Sports
Disability coaching is a specialised form of support designed to empower individuals with disabilities to achieve their personal, professional, and life goals. A disability coach works collaboratively with clients to identify their unique strengths, challenges, and aspirations, offering guidance in areas such as self-advocacy, goal setting, career development, and navigating physical or societal barriers. The coaching process is client centered, focusing on building confidence, resilience, and practical skills to foster independence, well-being, and inclusion.
Time2move Holiday clubs
Go Active are an exclusive provider for the Time2Move programme based in Cornwall. This programme provides enriching activities and healthy meals for disadvantaged children during the holidays, offering anyone who attends a safe space to take part in a variety of sporting activities, as well as receiving a healthy and nutritious meal.
Specialist Support Weight Management
Focussed on providing specialist activities to suit individual needs
Go Active Cornwall can support and deliver Physical Activity sessions to support Weight Management programmes for young people. We can offer a range of alternative and traditional sports to help build the young people’s self-esteem and confidence. By offering a range of fun alternative sports as part of the programme we can help to build new positive attitudes towards sport and physical activity.
We work with the young people to educate them about the benefits of leading an active lifestyle and teach them how they can incorporate small changes into their lives. All of this enables them to make more permanent changes to their lifestyles and to become a healthier and fitter person, both physically and mentally.
